Our Floral Fiesta volunteers support CUG’s mission for equitable access to culturally relevant foods and uplift Southwest Detroit’s culture, resilience, and creativity. 

Volunteers will receive one food/beverage voucher for during the Floral Fiesta event.

Volunteers are needed every day from Monday August 3 - Thursday August 6 for garden preparations, Friday August 7 for day-of set up and event support, and Saturday August 8 for event clean up. 

We could not do this work without the generous contributions of our partners and local businesses.. Sponsors may enjoy complementary admission tickets, complementary raffle tickets, recognition on social media and day-of signs, and more.

Floral Fiesta Chefs highlight the mission of Cadillac Urban Gardens by preparing and serving dishes showcasing the culturally-relevant produce we grow and sharing the importance of local, sustainable food with guests. 

Chefs will have access to a variety of fresh produce available to them from our garden. Additionally, Chefs will be given gift cards to a local grocery store to purchase any additional ingredients.

Past chefs have included Mama's Kitchen, Chi Fan Le, Melendez Galletas, Sambaosa, and more! From emerging to established business, we welcome anyone who wants to share their creations with our guests.
