How to volunteer & what to expect?

There is never a shortage of things to do around the garden during our open season (May - October). Volunteers are welcome when we are open. Have a special request for a volunteer group?  Thursdays are just for you. Make sure to email us at info@cadillacurbangardens.org to schedule your by appointment only visit.

You can expect to do things like plant seedlings, prune flowering plants, harvest veggies and herbs, and help distribute produce.

What to bring (See our Volunteer Information Packet): 

• In Summer, wear light layers that can protect you from the sun

• Early Spring/Early Fall can be chilly, bring layers to ensure you are warm

• Bring a hat, sunglasses, water bottle, and snacks
